I have started a Blog for Schuco Monorail collecting. Schuco toy monorails were only made from 1961 to 1968 in Germany and were sold at Disneyland. They are very rare. There will always be a link at the bottom of this blog. Come by and see my favorite toys and see my progress on my layout. Here is the link:

Christmas concert
Last night Jerri and I went to the Sunday school Christmas concert at our new church. As you can see it is a big church. The overhead screen looks like a drive in movie. The kids sang great and we had a wonderful time. We have been trying to attend as many activities as we can. It is really feeling like Christmas this year.

What was I thinking?
Hey! Is anybody out there?
Hey with all this free entertainment let me know you're out there. Back under the car I go. Every night I work on it a little. It's 56 deg. and after a while I can't move anymore. The hardest part is gettinng all the grease off each night so I can go to work in the morning. I go to work so I can rest.

It's finally out.
I spent several days, a little at a time, but I finally removed the transmission. The problem was a little 3 inch seal but I had to take half of the car apart to get to it. The problem is, how do I put it back together? The transmission, exaust, starter, front wheels, brakes, axels, fan shroud, battery, torque converter, throttle linkage and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember are all on the garage floor.

The party is over
Thanksgiving is over and we have eaten most of the turkey. The Christmas tree is up and the decorations are out. I was supposed to finish fixing my cars transmission but I got sick. I have been sick for two days. It feels like somethhing is growing in my stomach. I have a feeling I have seen it before.

Trip number two
The second trip was much better. We tried out our new trolling motor. We had a blast. It is slow but it's perfect for fishing and veiwing the bottom of the lake with our underwater video camera. We could see everything. We even saw a fish. We got the gas motor working again. It needs a little work but it ran fine at slow speeds. As you can see we put the canopy up just for fun.
We will put it in dry dock for a while because my car bit the dust. I will be taking out the transmission during Thanksgiving weekend. Wait till you see those pictures. Some sort of seal blew and all of the trans fluid just ran out all over the garage.

look out silverwood we're comming back
On Tue. I bought a electric trolling motor from Craig's list. Now we are ready to go back and really try our boat out. Now If our 60 hp Johnson stalls we can just break out the electric and cruse home. We will be at silverwood this Sat. at about 1:00pm. We already tried the electric in the pool and it was so strong that we could not hold it in our hands. It caused a big tornado and sucked everything into the suck zone. Did I mention that the Never Catch 1 has a new canopy?

Time to get out the oars.
The outboard motor worked until we tried to go faster and it tried to stall. We played around for a while going slow and decided to beach the boat so we could work on it. That was a big mistake. We could not keep it running after we worked on it. We finally had to paddle with one oar all the way back to the dock. This morning I got it running again but it needs the carburetors rebuilt. That's another day. I put the new cover on the boat and we will move on to another hobby.
We're ready to take her out.
She's ready for her first trip around the lake after 12 years of sitting in the yard. We started her up just fine. The MP3 player was playing Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival as we pulled away from the dock. We had a fish finder, an underwater video camera, fender bumpers, an anchor, ice chest, canopy, cigarette lighter, flood light and our lunch. It was too bad that we did not have a motor that worked.
