We are getting ready to go to Jerri Sue's family for Christmas eve. Each member of the family brings Traditional Swedish dishes for the Christmas dinner. Here I made Swedish potato sausage . Jerri Sue made Limpa, a Swedish Rye bread.
Another dish we made was Lutefisk. I cooked this white fish from Norway and Jerri Sue added a cream sauce.
This is the home of Jerri Sue's Aunt Pam and Uncle Craig. It was beautiful for Christmas.
Here is Jerri Sue's family.
Here we are on our first stop during the holidays.

WE NEED A NEW REFRIGERATOR
We needed a new refrigerator. Our old one was 24 years old and using too much electricity. When we look for a deal on food we look in the dented can rack. Where do you look for a dented refrigerator?
We found the perfect refrigerator in corona at the Sears outlet store. We got it for almost half price because it had one small dent in the door.
Now we have to get it home.
Stephen and Danny came to help us old folks.

IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF WORK

THURSDAY EVENING IN MEXICO
We finally got to go out for a little shopping. This is the Guaymas mall. A lot of the town comes out to hang out at the mall. There was mostly clothing and shoe stores. There was a food court with all kinds of great food that you would expect from here.
This tree is in front of the industrial complex medical building.
This Christmas decoration was on the highway overpass.
Cory and Mauricio clinbed on top of the sanding booth to see why so much dust was escaping into the factory. OK, how so much dirt got on the spoilers.

THURSDAY MORNING IN MEXICO
Just another Tequila Sunrise. Janet is getting into the culture here. We had some fine dining on Wednesday night.
If you got up early enough you could see the palm trees around the pool all in lights.
This is the rooms at the Armida. The beds were softer here and I got a great sleep.
There was a tv with a lot of English movies. My favorite channel was Spanish music videos.
The shower was big enough for a party. As always, we are really suffering here. Soon it will be time for the buffet Mexican breakfast. When will this torture end?

WEDNESDAY IN MEXICO
Cristine's mother owns a beauty salon in Guaymas. Cristine also used to cut hair before she got a job at Ducommun. I asked her to bring her equipment to work and cut my hair after hours. I'll do anything for some new pictures for my blog.
Here is a picture of spoilers being sanded in preparation for the final coat of paint.
More boxes of spoilers ready for Boeing.
This is a chemical coating that hepls the paint adhere to the wing at 10,000 feet.
Life has been rough here at the Armida. If you enjoy this blog please leave a comment below.

Tuesday in Mexico
Cristine and Aldo get ready for our daily presentation to Monrovia. We now use a web cam for our daily report. We always wanted to be movie stars.
This is the buffet room in our hotel. We had a great breakfast this morning. You can even make fresh waffles. There is a chef that will make omelets. We always suffer on these trips.
The Armeda hotel here in Guaymas is beautiful.
I wanted to take a dip in the pool but it is just too late in the year. Back home it snowed this morning.
I wish I could take home some of those cactus. I think I could stash one in my carry on bag.

BACK TO MEXICO
Here we are back in Guaymas Mexico. This is the airport tower in Guaymas.
There goes our plane back to phoenix. It is the only flight each day.
Ivan and Janet look out from the view point in San Carlos.
There is a big flea market up here. Everyone comes out for a beautiful view and some fun.
You can see far out to the ocean in all directions. This was our first day and we already have had a great time.
